Testing web color profiles...

I am guessing many of you reading this blog love photos, and post photos to blogger/twitter/facebook, etc. Most often I'm posting to blogger, and have found that the image loses saturation and contrast when uploaded to blogger, and thoroughly am disappointed how it makes the image look. Anyone else have this problem? I thought i solved it in this post, but although i'm doing the same thing, im not getting the same results.

So here's an attempt with Apple RGB profile,

Since sRGB wasn't working any more... What's the deal?

But if i upload to photobucket, then reference the image, i get the closest look yet. Has anyone else had any difficulties with blogger?? Uploading is such a pain sometimes!

This image was from a fun family session we did before our Utah trip. More soon!

now that i'm on my desktop, the browsers on this computer show the apple rgb (first one) looks pretty close, and the photo bucket not so much...

anyways, if you have any ideas/experiences, please share!

Are exporting from Lightroom or Photohop? How are you uploading? SRGB is going to be your best bet for internet use, but the export settings can vary depenging on how and what you are exporting to and from. I cant use Firefox (or Flock for that matter) as it sharpens all my photos to a very grainy point. I had problems on exporting and color a while ago and traced it back to how I was exporting the JPEG out of PS. I have had better luck in my straight Lightroom exports.
