Okay, so for this contest, it's pretty simple...
So i want you to tell me a quote or saying that is particularly motivating to you, or inspiring in some way. Include the words, and the author (if known).
2. That's it.
So submissions are accepted until Christmas Eve at 5pm. The winner will be chosen at random, and announced Christmas Morning. I will then design a custom setting of those words. The winner will receive their choice of either a digital file, or a printed & mounted copy of the artwork.
I'm one to be inspired by words, especially visual reminders of who i am and what i'm striving for. So... bring on the submissions!!!

All you can do is all you can do, but all you can do is enough. :-)

I will love until my heart aches, I will love until my heart breaks, I will love until there's nothing more to live for.
I think that mine needs a little introduction for it to be understood. President Hinckley was talking to a naval officer who was about to return home from Asia as a new convert. Hinckley asked him what would happen to him as he returned home. The officer replied that his family would be disappointed, and opportunities in his career would be foreclosed against him.
Hinckley asked "Are you willing to pay so great a price for the gospel?"
Officer: "It's true, isn't it?"
Hinckley "Yes, it is true"
Officer "Then what else matters?"
So my favorite quote is "It's true, isn't it? Then what else matters?"
“You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”
-Dr. Seus

"Bloom where you are planted."
Fun! Mine's kind of long ...
My plea is that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life, we "accentuate the positive." I am asking that we look a little deeper for the good, that we still our voices of insult and sarcasm, that we more generously compliment and endorse virtue and effort.
President Gordon B. Hinckley
Dance as though no one is watching you.
Love as though you have never been hurt.
Sing as though no one can hear you.
Live as though heaven is on earth.

When I think of raising children I think of strength. So, I have two quotes that are equally important to me, and each give a true sense of the source of strength.
The first from Tennyson:
My strength is as the strength of ten,
Because my heart is pure.
The second from King Lamoni (Alma 20:4)
...In the strength of the Lord thou canst do all things.
I also imagine and hope for the day that my sons will have inspirational quotes like these on their teenage bedroom walls.
I miss you much.

This could be the adventure we are waiting for..
Orginial from me.
Use it to see the out sights with all of lifes challanges..never know what it could bring, and what could result from some a "adventure" as opposed to the usual term of "challange" or "hardship"..adventure is such a better word!
Quote submitted for Aira: God could not be every where at once, so therefore he created mothers.
Old Jewish saying
sorry-- that's Aria, not Aira. :) Great quotes everyone!

The best things in life aren't things.
Yes, you can be a dreamer and a doer too if you remove one word from your vocabulary: IMPOSSIBLE
