These images were taken earlier this month, but as you know, i've been a slacking blogger! This little big guy stayed breech until the very end, but glad he's safe and healthy! Welcome to the world, Baby Hood!

Today we had another session of our lighting class and got a model for this one. She was fantastic. Thanks for modeling!

It was also a great opportunity to try out one of our students' new lenses....she just got a 85mm 1.8 lens that we have long been contemplating investing in. After this photoshoot, there's not doubt! Check out the awesome depth of field!

Rainy day in Oklahoma

Well....we couldn't be in heaven forever. It rained today and we were forced to be cooped inside. But we decided to take a quick break to go outside. Hope you enjoy the shots!

Family walk and fun with the camera

We're loving the 80+ degree weather in Oklahoma. What better time to go for a family walk than during spring break?

I've also been diligently preparing for our art & design of photography class. Consequently, I thought I'd start doing some of the assignments I am going to assign, to make sure I understand everything.....and here's the end result. Hope you like em!

Baby Toes

So... i don't know exactly where i've been in the blogging world for the last week. I have tons of sessions i need to get up on the blog. So many beautiful people we've photographed lately!! I guess i've just been enjoying life. For now, here's just a sneak at the adorable toes of baby Charlotte. More posts soon!

Engagement Session: Austin & Tikla

This cute couple is getting married end of June. It was fun to go up into the mountains to take these! The flurries of snow calmed down just in time for us! I was glad to be able to coordinate this session while i was in Utah for my other weddings. Thanks for a fun afternoon, guys!

Family Session: Lawrence

This little family was fun, and it was quite the windy day for their shoot! It's fun to do families and children who are so close.  Here are my favorites... Dustin did a great job!

Sweet Sweet Baby J

You might remember this handsome couple from this shoot, and their sweet Christmas card design here. Let's just say they are an incredibly cute family, and make cute cute kids! Here he is, only 9 days old... Welcome to the world, baby J! 

Now check out that neck action!! I have never seen a 9 day old newborn be able to hold his head up!! He's amazing!
