Ice, Ice, Baby

Reporting to you from the warm house of Fife, we warn you to stay off the roads like the entire community is doing right now here in Oklahoma. This crazy ice storm has closed schools, including the University, and cancelled flights... too bad we didn't stock up on a bunch of great movies! So we're stuck getting caught up with business... ;) jk. It's fun. Anyways, hope you're either staying warm and safe, or you're somewhere that IS warm and safe. Have a happy Tuesday!

OKC State Capitol Event

Last night Dustin and I got to shoot together at an event up in the city. LDS Management is opening an Oklahoma Chapter, facilitating great talents and minds to network together. Author Jeff Benedict was the keynote speaker. Here's just one from the evening, more to follow!

Newborn Session: Vanessa

This adorable newborn came in for her session at the magic age: 5 days old! It's the perfect time because they still are willing to sleep and be moved, and catch a few awake moments as well. She was just precious. I'll post just a few more next week. But i wanted to finally get some of these up! Enjoy!

Taussen: Class of '09

This lovely lady came all the way from Tulsa for her pictures. She's fun and creative and artsy. She attends Tulsa School of the Arts and Sciences, and she's a photographer herself! I'm jealous Dustin got to shoot her session. And who says you can't photograph in January? It was fun to meet you Taussen, and thanks for the awesome session!

Web Design

So Dustin's creating a new site for our partner vendor Ivory Gardens, and he asked me to use my illustrator skills to create buttons for their nav bar (Their site should be live around Monday). I haven't done anything with the program for 6 months, so i was a little rusty. But check out what i created!!  It's going to be sweet-- each button will enlarge like the doc on a mac. Sweet skills, my husband has.

So if anyone in Utah that wants to take an Illustrator class from an amazing teacher: Alma. Her Husband teaches photoshop. Check out their blog here.

And we're Back!!

Seattle was lots of fun, and we got some great images of the cutest dogs. I am now a fan of soft, hairless cuddly dogs. And we just finished a senior session that was amazing. Stay tuned...
